New Girls Chapter 16

It wasn't long before Shadow's lips met Sonic's
Unfortunately, the kiss didn't last long, due to the fact that Sonic pushed the black one off in panic
Shadow fell to the floor with a thud
"What was that for Faker?!" he shouted angrily
Sonic's looked at him apologetically, but put fingers to his now moist lips, and stood up
Shadow watch curiously as his blue hedgie walked over to the door quietly
When Sonic opened the door, he found Knuckles, Kelley, Takoda, and Tails leaning against the door
They all fell with an "Oof!" onto the floor
"May I ask why you guys are snooping?" Sonic asked with a sly smirk
Shadow's face immediately went dark red, thinking about how embarrasing it would have been for one of them to catch him and Faker kissing
"Eh.. we weren't?" Knuckles defended weakly, as he scratched the back of his head in embarrasment
"Sorry guys, couldn't keep them away for too long" Sandra and Sakti said at the time
Shadow, and the others that fell in, got up
He forced his blush to go away, and asked
"So, when are we going to be able to go back to our universe?"
Everyone turned to look at Sandra
"Well, I think you guys can go today... but, don't you want to hang around with us for a while?" Sakti asked
"Why not?" Tails replied, with a smile
"Alright" Knuckles said
Sonic elbowed Shadow, and said
"C'mon Shads, this could be fun", with a wink
Not wanting to dissapoint Sonic, he slowly nodded
"Cool, we have the rest of the day to do whatever" Kelley said
As the group headed out, Amin asked
"Hey, when you guys go back to you universe, can I come? I'd like to see the girl version of me, even if you guys say she's annoying"
"Oh, can I come?" Takoda asked "I want to see Tails's workshop!"
"I want to see the Master Emerald in your universe!" Kelley said, to Knuckles
"Isn't it the same?" he asked
"Well, in our universe, the Master Emerald is red.." she said
"Really?" he asked
"I think you guys can come for a while when we head back, right Tails, Knuckles?" Sonic asked
Both gave him a thumbs up
"Alright, everyone can split up, but meet back here by...8ish?" Sandra asked
"Yea, that gives us a lot of time to look around, seeing as it's 3" Tails responded
"To the emerald!" Kelley shouted, pulling Knuckles from the group
"Tails and Amin, where do you guys want to go?" Takoda asked, as she walked away from the group with them
"I guess me, you, Sakti and Sandra can hang out together?" Sonic asked, pointing from person to person
"Sure" Sandra said

"Wow" Knuckles said, as he looked at the Master Emerald
"The Master Emerald looks so...weird" he said
"What do you mean?"
"I'm just used to it being green, is all"
"Oh, well it gets pretty boring around here, seeing as we don't really use the Master Emerald that much, since no one is around trying to take over the world or something" Kelley said, as she sat down on the steps
"Does this world have a guy version or Rouge?" Knuckles asked, as he sat down next to her
"Who?" she asked, with a confused face, and head tilted
"Rouge, Rouge the bat. Is there a guy bat around here?" he asked
"Oh, you mean Runako, the bat?"
"I..guess.. Does he like to steal jewels?"
"Definately, actually sometimes he tries to take my Chaos Emerald, and he loves to be around the Master Emerald"
"Yep, thats Rouge for ya" he said, looking up at the Emerald
"Want to go visit him?" she offered
"Sure" he said, as they both stood up
"I can bet that he will ask a LOT of questions though, seeing as there are 2 of us.." she said, as she took off, Knuckles following

"So, I see that you don't tackle Sakti" Tails said
"What do you mean?"Amin asked, confused
"Amy always tackles Sonic, she just doesn't leave him alone. But, you seem to give Sakti her space" Tails said, with a smile
"Well yea, I do like Sakti, but I would never tackle her or anything.. Besides, she's with Sandra, and I wouldn't try to ruin their relationship" he responded
"I bet Amy would kill anyone that took Sonic away from her" Tails said, scratching the back of his head
"Bowling, anyone?" Takoda asked, as they entered a Bowling place
"Ill try, but I'm not very good" Tails said, as they walked to the counter
"Me either, but it couldn't hurt" Amin said

"So, where do you guys want to go?" Sakti asked
"Hmm.. anyone want to go to the track?" Sonic offered
Sandra and Shadow nodded
"Great, then let's go!" Sakti shouted happily, as she took off, followed by Sandra, Shadow and Sonic
~~~Couple of minutes later~~~
"Ready, Set, Go!" Sonic shouted, as they all took off
Shadow and Sandra ran side-by-side, Sonic and Sakti ran by their counterparts
"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to Eggman's base after the fire?" Shadow asked, still looking ahead
"Here, after Eggman's base caught fire and he died, it turns out that most of his rooms were not even touched. Only like, 3 rooms caught on fire, but somehow the others stayed in perfect shape" Sakti said
"For a while, scientists and others stayed in his base, studying what weapons the doctor was making, and seeing as how the others rooms hadn't caught fire. But now, after taking a lot of the really dangerous weapons out, it is used as a museum." Sandra finished
"So...anyone can... just go into... Egghead's base?" Sonic asked, now starting to sweat
"Yea..you guys.. want to go?" Sandra asked (sweating a little also)
"I guess, it'll be nice to visit the base without getting attacked by robots" Shadow said, with a smirk
"We can go...right after I beat all of you!" Sakti laughed, as she sped up even faster
*ZOOM* *ZOOM*
Everyone crossed the finish line at the same time
"I totally beat you all!" Sonic laughed
"Yea right" Sandra replied with a smile
"Hey, are we going?" Sakti asked
Shadow nodded, and ran towards the base
"Hey, wait up Shadow!" Sonic called, trying to sustain his energy from the race they just had

Kelley and Knuckles walked up to Runako's house
Kelley knocked on the door, but got no answer
"Maybe he's out looking for some Chaos Emeralds or something" Knuckles stated
"Actually, I got one right here" said a deep voice, with a hint of seduction
Behind them, was a white bat, wearing black jeans, a grey shirt, black shoes, and spiked wings that were the color of dark matter
"And where did you steal that from?" Kelley asked, while Knuckles just stared at him
"That's my business, and um, who is this?" he asked, pointing to the other echidna
"I'm Knuckles, the boy version of Kelley" he stated
Runako just gave him a weird expression
"Why don't we explain while we come in?" Kelley asked, opening the door
"I guess" Runako said, as he and Knuckles entered

"STRIKE!" Amin yelled happily, as he high-fived Takoda and Tails
"It looks like you won, Takoda came in second, and I came in last" Tails said, while pointing to the scores on the screen
"Aw, don't fret Tails. I'm sure you'll get a better score next time" Takoda reassured him
Tails nodded, and asked
"Well, what do you guys want to do no-"
Tails was suddenly hit by a flying peice of pizza
Amin and Takoda couldn't help but laugh
"S-sorry Tails, but that was pretty funny!" Takoda laughed
Tails pealed the pizza off of the back of his head
"Yuck!" he shouted, as he threw it to the ground
A group of other teenagers were throwing food at each other
"FOOD FIGHT!" a violet wolf called
"Hey! No food fights in the bowling alley!" A worker called
A green dog threw a soda at the worker, making the others laugh
Deciding to join, Amin and another worker threw food at the same dog, covering him in cheese, and soda
"Amin, don't join! Your going to get in trouble!" Takoda shouted
Tails countered that by throwing nachos at her
"Tails!" she giggled
Soon, everyone, including the group, and a good majority of the workers, started to throw food and drinks at each other

"Eggman's base" Shadow read aloud, from a sign in front of the tall building
"You know, no matter how many times I have been in here, I have never seen all of the rooms" Sonic said
"Me either, now that you mention it" Sandra replied, as they walked in
~Inside~
"Not many people here, eh?" Sakti said, as they looked around the first room
"I guess people are still afraid to come" Sonic stated
"Hey guys, there's a map over here" Sandra called, from the other side of the room
"They actually went through EVERY single room in this place?" Shadow asked, as he looked at the hundreds of rooms on the map on the computer screen
Sonic tapped on Sakti's shoulder, and pointed to a room
Sakti nodded, and pulled Sonic out of the room
"Hey, where are you guys going?" Sandra shouted as she skated after them, followed by Shadow
"There it is" Sonic stated, as they came up to a big metal door
It automatically opened, and they both stepped inside
Looking around, they saw that the walls were made of metal, there were 2 white tables, and a couple of computers
Sandra and Shadow came in seconds later
"Either Eggman never made the lazar, or the people that inspected this place took it out." Sonic said, as he looked over the tables
"Yea, or else we would have seen it by now" Sakti said, as she looked around the computers
"What are you 2 doing?" Shadow asked, walking over to Sonic, Sandra walked over to Sakti
"This is the room where Eggman got us under his control" Sakti said
"Yep, we were tied to these tables, and he used a lazar to control us" Sonic stated, as he layed down on the table, hands behind his head
"Now that I think about it, we both looked like peices of charcoal" Sakti laughed, as she sat on the other table
~After exploring a couple of rooms~
"Alright, I think we should get out of here, it's almost 7:00" Sandra stated
The others nodded, and they exited the base
"I really hope I never feel pain like that again from a lazar" Sonic said with a nervous chuckle
"I know, and those cages weren't exactly comfy either" Sakti said, as she stuck her tongue out
"Hey look!" Sonic said excitedly
Everyone turned to where Sonic was pointing
"IceCream!" Sakti shouted happily, as her and Sonic ran over
"Is all they think about food?" Sandra chuckled, as she walked over to the icecream place with Shadow
"Apparently" Shadow snorted

"...And then we came here to visit you" Kelley finished
"Can I come when you guys go back to your universe too?" Runako asked
"You can come, I'll bet Rouge will love to see the guy version of her" Knuckles laughed
Kelley looked at her watch (The one that Takoda gave her before, when Shadow and Sandra went to save Sonic and Sakti)
"Well, it's 7:10, if you want to come with us to their universe, you will have to come to Takoda's workshop, at about 10 in the morning" Kelley stated, as she got up
"Why do you have to go so soon?" Runako asked
"We and the others agreed that we would meet at 8" Knuckles said, as he walked to the door
"Alright, I guess I'll see you guys later" Runako said, as he tossed a green Chaos Emerald in his hand
~Outside~
"Well, we still have another 50 minutes to kill" Kelley said, as she walked away from Runako's house
"Maybe we could go find Takoda, Tails and Amin, or something" Knuckles offered
"Ok, problem is, we don't know where they are..."

"Aw man! There's no more food!" One of the teenagers shouted
"EVERYONE GET OUT!" one of the workers screamed
The group of teenagers immediately ran out of the building
Tails felt bad, and flew over to the worker
"Hey, umm, I'll help clean up if you want" Tails offered
Takoda flew over, with Amin walking right behind her
"We'll help too" they said, at the same time
"Thanks kids, I really appreciate it" the man said, now calming down
2 workers brought out sponges, brooms, mops and other cleaning supplies
1 worker started to wipe down the seats, and counters
Another worker started to work on the carpets and the racks where the bowling balls were held
The man that yelled before, started to scrap the food off of the walls, and wipe them down
Takoda decided to clean the bowling alleys, and the pins
Tails went over to the counter, where you get your bowling shoes, and cleaned up there
Amin decided to clean the floor that was in front of the alleys, making sure they were shining like before
Every once in a while, someone would call out:
"We need more water!""Where is the soap""I was using that mop!"
Since Tails, Takoda and Amin where naturally faster than humans, they finished in about half an hour
Takoda started to help clean the walls, Tails helped wipe down the counters, and Amin helped clean the carpets while the worker originally working there, cleaned the racks

Shadow and Sandra sat at a table that was outside of the icecream place
"Here!" Sonic shouted, handing Shadow a Cookie's N' Cream Icecream
"I didn't order anything" he said, rejecting the icecream
"But, your gonna eat it!" Sonic laughed, as he stuffed it in Shadow's mouth
Sakti laughed, and handed Sandra a Vanilla mixed with Chocolate cone, with some chocolate sprinkles on top
Sonic had a plain Vanilla icecream, in a bowl, and Sakti had a Coffee flavored icecream cone
"Wow, it's REALLY hot out tonight" Sandra stated, as she licked her icecream
"You can say that again, my icecream turned into soup!" Sonic complained, as he lifted up the white liquid with his spoon, then dumped it out like it was milk
"Sandra..." Shadow stated
"Hmm?" she asked
"Look at your cone" Shadow smirked
"Dammit!" she shouted, noticing that the icecream was quickly melting
Sandra frantically licked the icecream sliding down her cone, making everyone laugh
By this time, Sakti was starting to bite her cone, as was Shadow, Sandra was licking the melting icecream, and Sonic was eating his icecream like soup
"A BEE!" Sakti screamed, falling backwards, and kicking the table in the process
"Whoa!" Sonic yelled as his milky icecream went flying in the air
"AHH!" Shadow shouted, as Sonic's icecream splashed all over him
Sandra laughed very hard at the sight, but on the other hand, Sakti and Sonic looked at Shadow with blushes
Sakti wore a light blush, while Sonic wore a very deep, red blush
"I'm so sorry Shadow!" Sakti apologized
Shadow was covered with the white liquid
"It's fine, I guess. Just get me a couple of napkins, this stuff is getting sticky from the heat!" he whined
He looked up from his fur, to look at Sonic
"What's wrong?" Shadow asked, now blushing slightly
Sonic looked away, and his blush was even deeper
"...whatever" Shadow said, as he tried to wipe the substance off
By then, Sandra stopped laughing, and Sakti came back with a handful of napkins
"Here" she said, handing them to Shadow
"Ugh, this stuff is not coming off. I am going to have to take a shower later" he stated, as he threw the napkins into the garbage
"Well, you can still see the lines where the vanilla was, but, its not THAT bad" Sandra stated, trying not to laugh again
"Yea yea, let's go." Shadow said, walking away from the icecream place, while gaining weird looks

"Thanks for helping kids, you can come back anytime and you don't have to pay for your games" the worker said, politely
"No problem, bye!" Tails said, as he, Amin and Takoda left
"Wow, we REALLY need showers" Takoda pointed out, as she looked at the stains in her fur
"I'm sticky from soda!" Amin complained
"I think I have crumbs in the fur on my tails" Tails said, as he pulled one in front of him, to inspect it
"Hey, there you guys are!" a familiar voice shouted
"Hey Knuckles, Kelley!" Amin shouted
"What happened?!" Kelley shouted, shocked
"Food fight in the bowling alley" Takoda responded
"I can see that, there's cheese on your head" Kelley chuckled
"Oh... ew" she said, as she pulled it off
"Have you guys seen the others in there, by any chance?" Knuckles asked
Amin shook his head
"Well, it's 7:50, we were just heading back, maybe they are too" Kelley said
"Yea, we need to get back soon, or else it will be even harder to get this gunk out of our fur!" Takoda said
